Shiny Happy People

Here are the school kids with their new clothes and new backpacks and new shoes and new headbands ready to take on a brand new year of school. They were so excited for the first day.

Lauren had a great first day being walked to class by her big sisters. I am anxious to hear the report from the other girls. Lauren and I are making "first day of school" cookies. Here are a few individual shots.

Noble and I had a fun morning playing by ourselves and running some errands. Can't leave him out of the photos this morning. I think he wanted to go to school with his sisters.

It was awfully quiet around here with just he and I at home. Oh well, I guess I ought to enjoy it because it won't be that way for long.

We have a little "Snickerdoodle" baking in the oven.
Due to be done March 31st.
Now I think I will go do something to keep me from throwing up. :)

Yay, I get to be the first to comment. Congratulations!!! How exciting for you guys. Oh, the morning sickness. I feel for you. I know all too well what that's like, having just gotten over that myself. This too shall pass.
The girls look so cute. How fun for the first day of school.

Wow, a new school year and a new baby to look forward to! You are so blessed.

ps, the best thing I found for morning sickness was salted plain corn chips (tortilla chips)

Yeah, I knew it was coming soon and figured that you were pregnant when you said you decided not to travel for your summer break:) Take care of yourself. I hope the first trimester flies by but atleast you'll have it a little easier at home with your girls in school. Lauren looks so big. Carina starts next week. It's going to be a big adjustment. I'll miss her so much.

What darling girls you have! Sabrina's hair is getting so long again - so glad she and Kelsey are together in class. CONGRATULATIONS on your new little sugardoodle!!! I was kind of wondering when you'd have another one; I knew it would come eventually. Again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Steph!!! Congratulations- that is such good news -well the baby part, not the sick part ;) I am in your same boat right now. Yep, about a week or two ahead of you. I too, keep trying to eat the things I am craving hoping it will help the nausea subside, but instead it has only made me gain 10 lbs! Ha! I will keep checking in on you and your progress. Lots of love. G

I had been reading your blog very faithfully in the beginning ....but life had gotten busy and I had a child of my own she is 1 now. I had been looking over some of my favorite blogs today and remembered yours. You have always made me think a little deeper into what a mother really is, and I say thank you. I see Congrats are in order, that is so wonderful. You are such an inspiration to me.
