Nap time

Product Details
This came to my house today courtesy of Amazon.com. My husband set it up and Noble had his first nap longer than 30 minutes since Harrison was born. It was wonderful, especially considering that Harrison and I slept too!

I never thought I would be buying a crib tent. I just figured I could train the crib escaping kid to stay in his bed. However, I never imagined having a kid who would stay in their bed and fall asleep but only sleep for 10 minutes and then wake up and leave for the day.

So thanks to whoever invented this thing and Noble is going to have a good time "camping" in his crib for a few months ... or years. :)

I love that you bought this. When I was reading your earlier blog about Noble escaping I thought to myself...that girl needs a crib tent! (best invention ever!) And yet, I didn't suggest one because, for reals, most people look at me like I'm crazy to lock my kid up their crib. I, personally, LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I hope you get many more nights/naps of sleep :)

I think it's brilliant and wouldn't hesitate to use it if/when I have kids. Yeay for sleep!! :)

I need one of those for my daughter who escapes from her twin size bed! Twenty times a night, every.single.night. No matter how much "correcting" we do, nothing has worked so far. Parents who don't have this particular problem won't understand, and parents who deal with this all the time are cheering for you! ;)

I bought one of those a few months ago for my then 21 month old escape artist. He is my 6th child, and I never had a need for one before. But it is the best thing ever! He stays in bed, and I know where he is.

I'm so glad you posted this! I have been debating about getting one for my little boy - seriously he started climbing out of his crib the day after he turned 1!!! I didn't think it would be a big deal but now I cant just put him in and let him fall asleep - or even let him cry in there for a minute when he wakes up, I have to RUN in there so he wont climb & fall out!!! So glad to hear they work!!! Thank you ~ Thank you!! Enjoy your napping with your sweet new baby!!

My DIL used one for her baby that learned to climb out of the crib prematurely, and it was wonderful.

For everyone!

The crib tent was the only way my sister survived her twins...so glad you ordered one and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You are keeping them safe and yourself SANE!

Congrats on baby Harrison...I have 10 weeks to go...it seems forever! Another boy for us too. Glad you got a nap!

My daughter would still be using her tent, but the zipper busted so now she's in a toddler bed. I loved it though, and think it trained her to stay in her bed and call for me when she wakes up until I come in the room because she's had her little bed since Christmas now and is still sleeping like a pro. So nice to know you can leave them alone for a time in a safe place.

My escape artist had to have safety pins and other extra devices put on her crib tent so she would stay in it. She ended up giving up her nap much earlier than my other kids.

Oh, we used one of those for years after my 3rd child decided that 3am was wake up for the day time!! They make one for a pack 'n play, too, just so you know!! He actually grew to really like it and when he finally matured started asking us to leave it open. Then he moved to a toddler bed and has done really well ever since. Enjoy the peace of mind!
