A Book

I have been working on turning my blog into a book. It has been an addicting and emotional journey. I am using Blurb. I have been going through and editing which entries I want to include and which layouts I want to use.

I have done up through the funeral. There are so many gaps in my story that I want to write up and fill in to complete this book. It is going to be an emotional process but one that I think will be well worth the effort.

So if my posts are sparse lately, it is because I am working on the book and trying to cram a summer's worth of fun into the two weeks that my kids have off school before they start the new year. It is kind of a tall order.

A book will be marvelous! You are a fantastic writer, and although I LOVE your blog, there's nothing quite like turning the page of a good book. You have so much insight to share, this will serve many.
Love you!
Cynthia

I am not a good writer. Howvever putting my last year's blog into a blurb book was one of the best things I could have done. It is the journal I donot keep. I just browsed through it last week and oh the memories. I am sure you will be glad to have your memories in print not only for yourself but for your children.

I also made a book. It is so precious to me. Yours will be a priceless treasure to you. Enjoy these last days of summer, it has gone by so very fast, hasn't it? Good luck in your endeavor ~

I think a book is a fabulous idea. It is always nice to have these memories in print that you can pick up and look at any time you need to. When my brother passed away, my mom wrote a book about the experience (events that happened prior to, the day of, and after the incident). We all have a copy of it and can look at it/read it any time needed. I too have written down some of my memories, since everyones perspective is different. As you know, it is quite healing.
You are wonderful!!!

Love, Nikki K.

Is it too personal to ask if there is anything specific you would like prayed about for you for this journey? I hope that writing this out and filling in the gaps helps you grow and gain a stronger connection to your sweet Camille and your other kiddos.

I've been thinking about Blurb for almost two years now. Let us know how it works out.

Good luck finishing. I admire you as the process has got to be grueling. HUGS!

Stephanie, would you mind if I let people know about my good friend Megan? She has struggled for the past few years to become a mother and so far has not been successful. There is so much heartache in her story which can be read at www.megsmiracle.blogspot.com. We are holding a charity event for her and her husband Scott on August29th and since I know you have great readers I wanted to get the word out here as well. Thanks so much for being so inspiring to all of us!
