A Quick Day

Ever have those days that seem to race by and are over before you know it? Today has been one of those days for me. It isn't that I had SOOO much to do. Though I was busy all day. I am not sure why but today the time just flew. And with it went the month of May.

So now I have to step into June. I am not sure I will ever feel the same about the month of June. June should be a happy bright, sunny, vacation type month. Now seeing the word June or saying it just makes me feel like there is a great big storm cloud hanging over the month.

Maybe I can ignore it or "think" or "not think" it away. I don't know. Ready or not, here she comes -- June.  No doubt she will bring the waves with her. And me -- I will huddle down in the boat with my friends and together we will weather the storm that besets us.

Steph, we are all here to weather the June storm with you. Isn't it funny how the name of the month, the way the sun sets in the sky, and even just the breeze in the air bring back all of those feelings. Thinking of you this month. Nicole - Mia's mom ^i^

I know what you mean. It is the same for me and the month of September. That is the month I lost my son to stillbirth on his due date. I love to read your blog as it gives me hope. My prayers are with you and your family this month.

I can't even comprehend how painful the return of this month must be for you, Steph. I just feel so sad for you and your family and wish there were something I could do to ease your pain and heartache. You are in my prayers. I'm hoping that somehow that makes some kind of difference. I pray the Lord will mercifully carry you. Love, Kate

So many will mourn with you. You are loved by so many!! You continue to amaze us with your inspiring words. Aren't friends so great to have and share in these difficult times?! I am so grateful for my friends, or angels, as I call them, that helped me so much. Also, let the Savior's love hold you and comfort you as He did me.

by the way, the pictures of sabrina taken by lesli are too cute! lesli - you're really a great photographer! and what a good idea to include the gerber daisies in the pics.

I UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELING OF JUNE AS SUCH MINE IS WITH THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY WHEN I DIED 3 TIMES AND THEN WAS SAVED.

IT HAS BEEN 7 YEARS AND EACH YEAR IS A LITTLE BIT EASIER BUT THE PAIN NEVER GOES AWAY. YOU HAVE A STRONG FAMILY THAT WILL HELP YOU WEATHER THIS STORM. IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO PLOW THROUGH IT..... TEARS FLOWING, BREATH SHORT, HEAD HELD HIGH AND HEART SMART! GOOD LUCK!

June is sure to be an intense month - I love the saying - " the greater that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain". While I wish you had never experienced the unimaginable sorrow of losing your daughter, I believe that some very ordinary things about life may become miraculous. Best of luck in June - you will be in my thoughts and prayers - hoping for some special heavenly gifts for you during this painful month.
