My family did that in the house we grew up in and my parents lived in for 40yrs. It looked alot like your's with the hands and our names and the yr. I loved it. My parent's moved from that house. I tried last yr to arrange removing that slab of cement (and of course filling it again). I had it all lined up except for asking the home owners. When I went up to the house and took a look at it... it was basically ruined with some stain and chipped at.
